About Bailey

Bailey is a screen and stage actor, singer, and movement artist. Based in New York City for nearly 10 years, the pandemic flung Bailey into a vagabond life and has been based wherever she is- which is currently making theatre on the Qualla Boundary in Cherokee, North Carolina.

Bailey is Choctaw and an enrolled tribal member of Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.

Bailey grew up as an Oklahoma farm girl before moving to the suburbs of Dallas, Texas as a teenager. From there she went on to receive her training in acting, dance, and vocal performance at Collin College in Plano, Texas. In 2011, Bailey was admitted into the CAP21 Conservatory in New York City and is now a proud Alumni to their Musical Theatre and Practicum program.

Bailey has been performing internationally (as well as locally in NYC) ranging from Tokyo to Toronto to Queens. She’s collaborated on creating brand new works in theatre and film and including the original cast of “Dracula: The Failings of Men” by Benedetto Robinson (Cherokee, North Carolina), an Appalachian/ Cherokee twist of “Alice in Wonderland” as Alice (Cherokee, NC), “The Queen Bees” (Queens Theatre) & “Alvin and the Chipmunks! Live!” (North American Tour). When she’s not in NYC or Appalachia, she’s been found singing overseas at Tokyo Disney Resort.

Bailey is an Advanced Actor Combatant and occasional Fight Choreographer with certifications from the Society of the American Fight Directors.

Certifications include: Theatrical Firearms, Unarmed Combat, Knife, Quarterstaff, Broadsword, Smallsword, Sword & Shield, and Rapier & Dagger. She trained with Neutral Chaos Studios in New York City as well as Havoc Movement Company based in Atlanta, GA.

In her free time Bailey is a loving cat mom, amateur poet, visual artist, Japanese and Cherokee student, spooky podcast enthusiast, lover of sushi and chocolate, and avid traveler. She’s currently been to 15+ countries and counting. Where to next?
