Bailey is an Indigenous actor, singer, and movement artist. She is proudly Choctaw and an enrolled tribal member of Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. Based in New York City for nearly 10 years, the pandemic flung Bailey into a vagabond life that included exploring the desert in a built-out van and making theatre on the Qualla Boundary in Cherokee, North Carolina. You can see her currently touring the country with the Peter Pan National Tour as Tiger Lily.
Bailey grew up in Oklahoma before moving to the suburbs of Dallas, Texas in her adolescence. From there she went on to receive her training in acting, dance, and vocal performance at Collin College in Plano, Texas. In 2011, Bailey was admitted into the CAP21 Conservatory in New York City and is now a proud Alumni to their Musical Theatre and Practicum program.
Bailey has been performing regionally and internationally ranging from Tokyo to Toronto to Queens. She’s collaborated on creating brand new works in theatre and film including the original cast of Havoc Movement’s “Dracula: The Failings of Men” by Benedetto Robinson (Cherokee, North Carolina + Atlanta Shakespeare Company) as Lucy Westenra, an Appalachian/ Cherokee twist of “Alice in Wonderland” as Alice (Havoc Movement- Cherokee, NC), “The Queen Bees” (Queens Theatre) & “Alvin and the Chipmunks! Live!” (North American Tour). When she’s not in NYC or Appalachia, she’s been found singing overseas at Tokyo Disney Resort.
Bailey is an Advanced Actor Combatant, Assistant Fight Director, Assistant Stunt Coordinator, and Fight Captain with certifications from the Society of the American Fight Directors and has had the thrill of performing with Fire Fans and and other forms of live fire onstage. Her stunt experience is not limited to staged violence and flames- Bailey also trains and performs Aerial skills that includes Silks, Lyra Hoop, and Aerial Harness. She’s had the honor to be a Fly Captain for Paul Ruben, who’s known for a number of Broadway and International credits that include Cathy Rigby’s Peter Pan.
SAFD Certifications include: Theatrical Firearms, Unarmed Combat, Knife, Quarterstaff, Broadsword, Smallsword, Sword & Shield, and Rapier & Dagger. She trained and interned with Neutral Chaos Studios in New York City as well as Havoc Movement Company based in Atlanta, GA.
In her free time Bailey is a loving cat mom, visual artist, true crime and spooky enthusiast, lover of sushi and chocolate, and avid traveler. She’s currently been to 15+ countries and counting.
